A 100-word story
Thank Heaven for Little Girls

Like Chevalier in Gigi, I thank Heaven for little girls. Just seeing them makes me young.
I'd hobbled to our small marina to enjoy the beauty of the lake. Breeze-blown sailboats raced by in a final heat. At the end of a long pier, a pair of youngsters sat side-by-side watching them.
Having no camera, I framed this work of art with my hands. I smiled when the dark-haired boy squirmed as the pretty red-haired girl leaned toward him.
A sudden movement of her lips upon his cheek. Then she giggled.
"Don't be a coward, boy," I whispered. "Be thankful."
