Exuberance: noun
/ex.u.ber.ance/
1.the quality of being full of energy, excitement, and cheerfulness.

Note: This is a testimony given this Sabbath Sunday at the Latter-day Saint Church of Jesus Christ.
...
What makes a man a man?
Courage and Truth?
Love for God and Hope?
Perhaps a realization that God will provide for his children?
Yes, and that He will bless and comfort Us?
In times when we feel that All Is Lost?
...
This story is about a man who found out that he had cancer in his left leg and hip.
Note: And, this type of cancer is so severe that no radiation or chemo would help this man.
And, the only resolution is a complete removal of the cancer.
Yes, removal of a good half of his body.
...
So, John cried and he prayed and he cried some more.
Truly the Grim Reaper was on his doorstep!
He found out from his doctor, as she stated that this would be an extensive experience of 15 hours.
An operation with little chance of survival.
And, an expected massive amounts of blood loss.
...
The facility was prepared with eight units of blood for this extremely risky operation.
But John was preparing too.
He had the support of not only his church.
The Latter-Day Saint Church of Jesus Christ but other churches.
Yes, that he had no idea for many people had learned of his plight.
And, especially his dear wife Emily.
...
He later stated without her he would have surely died.
But something else would happen?
The day of the event came and John was prepared for whatever outcome. And, he prayed the night before and all that morning.
John stated that he actually said goodbye to his leg and then he said goodbye to his shoe!
Yes, but how do you say goodbye to a shoe?
...
John felt an ever but Eerie feeling as he operation began.
He claims he felt as if something was supporting him and was holding on to him?
Yes, and fortunately the operation went so smoothly.
Not only was it completed in 13 hours but they did not have to use one drop of blood!
...
Later, John found out that there were other churches that had been praying for him.
In other words there wasn't just one church or 30 people there were many churches and hundreds of people!
And, while he was being operated on he had a dream.
Yes, a dream that there were Angels surrounding him!
...
Much later on and many weeks later. He was talking to his best friend Tony about the experience.
Tony stated as he was patiently waiting in the waiting room.
Note: Tony has a gift and he can see things.
He swears to this day that he saw dozens of Angels in that operating room!
Yes, watching over John and supporting him!
Now, what makes a Man a Man?
Amen
