The cycle of life a Roundabout poem

A Mother's Love

by poetwatch

There's no love like a mother's love
From birth you know she's there.
She'll clear your tears
And calm your fears
From birth you know she's there.

The one who gives you tender care
She'll mend your clothes with style.
With withered hands,
In many lands,
She'll mend your clothes with style.

Her Mona Lisa's secret smile
That window's in your soul.
You share the love
From those above
That window's in your soul.

And then one day as she grows old
On her, the angels call.
Her smile you'll see,
A memory,
On her, the angels call.

This is a sad poem that makes me remember a lovely face with a tender touch and her love. I didn't want to post it, but this is what came out. I love you, mom.

Thank you, avmurray.
