Eternal love

by Nicolas Bodereau

The serene moon is now so fiercely jealous
-- Any proper reason ? I asked then full of doubts
Swiftly in the wood a gust of wind blows its voice
So brimming with wild force in the heat of the night

That goblins and fairies ceased their games and chitchats
And the trees and the plants and the birds with their hats
All stopped their moves while the heavy silence led the day
-- I, queen of heavens, have now a rival a peer
in the moody skies of beauty and elegance way
-- You are equaled indeed oh dear bright light maker

She is my queen,
I am her king
Bright and keen
Our souls sing
