Words of Wisdom

Growing Old

by lancellot

Giving advice to young people, knowing they’re ignoring you.
Remembering all the times, you didn’t listen to your elders.
Owning your failures with your successes is why you have tears.
Wisdom, women, and work; having two got you the third.
Inside is better than outside -- unless you’re pregnant or don’t want to be.
Never tell your real age if you're under 21 or over 40.
Going clubbing after you’re 40 is embarrassing for everyone. Stay home.

Of all the lessons you'll learn in life,
Loving learning and learning to love are the hardest but they're worth it.
Damn, you're old, when you want to keep writing words of wisdom
.
