The voice that sustains me.

Voice in The Darkness

Voice in the Dark

It was your voice in the
Darkness
That calmed my fears

Your heartbeat lulled me to
Sleep

Hands with the fragrance of almonds
First cradled me when I
Cried

Dark curly hair and eyes as blue as the sky
Looked upon my innocence and declared me
Beautiful

Your smile taught me to laugh
Your words taught me wisdom
Your prayers sustained my life

Everything that I am
I owe it all to you.

Happy Birthday to my mother on her 87th Birthday June 25th, 2016. The little boy
in the picture is my brother's only grandchild. My brother passed away from lung cancer just after Caleb was born. Caleb looks so much like my brother.
