Did you read or hear the news today? The world is going to end tomorrow.
I read it the other day and again today on the computer. Are you old
enough to remember Y2K? There's been lots of other times in history, too,
where someone or some group was certain it would be on such and such
date. I think December 21, 2012 was also a Mayan end of calendar date,
too? Well, we are still here. It seems someone is always calculating the
date for tomorrow. I guess a lot of people are believing these men. Frankly,
myself, I'm not. The bible teaches that no one knows the date, time and
hour but our (my) Heavenly Father. So, I really don't think these fellows
have all their facts straight. However, I do believe this old world is in a
heap of trouble and it will end someday (perhaps sooner than we think). I
sure want to be one of those believers that is prepared when it happens.

So, if it ends tomorrow...
...I'm ready...
but I won't be quitting my job today.
