Wunder-Kinder Come Asunder

Mono-rhyme Contest Winner 


Hopeless housewife Hetty Hunder
Needed money; banks all shunned 'er,
But her boyfriend, Bobby Bunder,
Made an offer, really stunned 'er,
Said he had the cash to fund 'er.

Hetty had been looking under
Mattresses she hoped to plunder.
"Hetty, oh you are a dunder-
Head," said Bobby. "Makes me wonder
If I've made a dreadful blunder."

Hapless Hetty's now rotunder,
Bobby's baked, then caked and bunned 'er;
Stuffed 'er till she tried to chunder,
When she walks there's noise like thunder '
Have you guessed? They're now asunder.
