When a Spring Fails to Appear

"Gleeful idiots grasp any change as hope,
while those who care ...
Cry with their face in their palms."

I wasn't one of the idiots, because I saw it first
and was fool enough to try to change this world.




This was a sparked writing by a Facebook Friend, John Tiong Chunghoo. It is very simple, yet very stark.

Political wise we are usually on opposite sides of the fence, but being both poetic people and writers, we have many times reached across or through any fence to shake hands.
