The thrill of the kill

The Dandy-Man Song

by kiwisteveh

I'm out here slaying dandelions,
It gives me quite a thrill;
There's a little pop of pleasure
For every one I kill.

They know I've got their number,
The little yellow brutes,
And next I'll slaughter daisies
With whom they're in cahoots.

I'm glad I've got my ride-on -
It helps me mow 'em quicker.
A thousand golden heads are gone
While I sit here and snicker.

I hope I see some bigguns;
I'll feed 'em to my goats,
And I'll give a little chuckle
As each one slides down their throats.

God help 'em if they try to spread
Those fluffy, flying seeds.
"The Dandy-Man will cut you down,
You pesky little weeds!"
