Cinderella

by kiwisteveh

Acrostic Poem Contest Winner

Cindy lost her Mom and so a stand-in had to do.
In place of love she landed Ugly Sisters One and Two.
Now when the hot Prince planned a ball, the Uglies were invited;
Despite herself our Cindy couldn't help but be excited.
Enter stage left Fairy Mom; cried Cindy, "It's a dream!"
Rags become a ball-gown, there's a pumpkin coach and team.
Entranced, the Prince asked her to dance; they made a gorgeous pair.
Look out, Cindy, midnight's come. Don't leave your slipper there!
Looking for his love, the Prince went searching shoe in hand.
And happy Ever After - tra-la-la, strike up the band.
