Work is lauded, praised and paid,
and certainly deserves it --
blessed are those who spin the wheels,
who move the world and serve it.

But there is something to be said
for those who take a minute
away from work to see the world
and all the joy within it.

So sing the song of industry
and join the daily labor,
but when life's beauty beckons you,
embrace what you should savor.
