The Secrets of the World are Passed
by adewpearl
The secrets of the world are passed from fathers down to sons, and with each bit of knowledge shared, a whispered wisdom comes. The place to catch a polliwog while wading in a creek, a hidden treasure worth the search for those taught where to seek. The way to choose a skipping stone that skims across the pond as if a wizard lifted it upon his magic wand. The spots where fishes congregate just waiting to be caught, and how to while the time away should fishing come to naught. A son who's taught on father's knee soon turns a man, and then, becomes himself a father who is blessed among all men. |
