I'll Fetch a Pail of Stars for You
by adewpearl
I'll fetch a pail of stars for you, though steep will be the climb, and then to make their glimmer last, I'll stay the hands of time. I'll stay the hands of time for you to make a sunset last, then gather from it all its gold if that is what you ask. If that is what you ask of me, I'll do most anything. I'll steal the wind from winter's hold to hasten in the spring. To hasten in the spring I'll fly to lasso in the sun, and once I've captured all its rays, I'll give you every one. I'll give you every ray of sun, that spans the sky so vast if you will only grant one smile for doing what you asked. |

Many thanks to Miranda Signore for her photo of Sawyer getting a little help from his daddy at the rock climb.
