How now, brown cows?

Fat
brown cows
stoop to browse
on verdant green.
Nearby a farmer ploughs
his furrow. Man and beast are seen
in harmony with nature, all serene
Unseen by herd and ploughman runs a highway that
conveys the frantic hordes who teem between
suburban sprawl and drab routine
where slave to master bows
in rite obscene.
I'd espouse
brown cows
fat.
