A kyrielle sonnet
In Love or Death
by kiwisteveh
I've served my time in beauty's thrall, But now my stars with strength align. Though empires rise and kingdoms fall, In love or death, I'll make thee mine. My shackles shattered, cast aside, Bear testament to pow'r malign. In darkness my desires abide; In love or death, I'll make thee mine. If thou wouldst live, come, be my Queen, Our star-cast destinies entwine, Or dwell in sepulchre serene; In love or death, I'll make thee mine. I've served my time in beauty's thrall; In love or death, I'll make thee mine. |
