The night before Christmas
and all through the house
Not a creature was stirring

James had eaten the mouse!

All there for everyone to enjoy

The delightfully little mouse
It sat on it's golden plate in it's
Special place
A gift to grandmother from the
Ladies of the Red Hat Club

Plump cherry body with tiny little
Cherry stem tail
Hershey kiss head with red button nose
A little chair of chocolate cherry cookie
For repose

James unknowingly popped little
Mouse in his mouth with tail sticking out
Pour grandmother now has no mouse
For her house

Generations will be told this story of old how James ate the mouse completely whole.
