Peace and quiet are not to be found
Sometimes I think I work at a pound
Barks, howls, whining from the creatures
They're just exhausted elementary teachers

I really don't want to sound adverse
I'm just the lowly school nurse
Days are long and pay is short
We all need a trip to a resort

Christmas vacation soon will be here
We'll wish the dears good cheer
Wave goodbye ever so sweetly
And then fall apart completely.
