ABC Limerick

Writing Prompt I like mixing forms together so let's have some creativity shown here. A limerick and and ABC poem have the same lines so let's have an ABC limerick. A limerick is 9 9 6 6 9 syllable count with an AABBA rhyme scheme. An ABC poem is 4 letters in order with the 5th line any order you want it. One stanza only and please no cuss words. |
Against my wishes I have kept the syllable count to 9 in line 2 although it throws out the meter. For those who desire a smoother read, simply insert the word 'her' so the line reads 'Xenophobia hit her like granite.
Please will somebody get around to changing the ridiculous 'Only on FanStory' rule which severely limits the flow and inherent humour of a good Limerick!
