A Christmas poem
It's Christmas Time

Mistletoe in the trees
remind me of long ago memories. Women in the kitchen cooking their best. Laughing and joking with such zest. Men folk gathered around the fireplace talking about the Lord and His amazing grace. Children playing in the snow. It's Christmas time don't you know. |

Free verse couplets. Fond memories. I was driving home last winter and this little poem just came to me as I looked up and saw the mistletoe in the trees. The picture was also taken in my yard last winter.
