Revival
by justjo66
A church parking lot years ago
The night was dark I sat on the back row Wishing I was in the park The tent flapped against itself The preacher started his altar call I was only fifteen and by myself I sunk in my chair to appear small The music played "Just As I Am" I felt myself take a step out One step after the other like a lamb Forgiveness I did obtain, I have no doubt I was saved at a revival He has always been there for me This event is the difference in my survival I thank him for his sacrifice on that tree.* |
