Memories
Tall Trees
by justjo66
There is a land where the tall trees grow
The ground is covered with ferns below Ancient paths meander through the brush I can hear the waterfalls rush The sky is clear above The sun's rays are brillant on the foxglove Deer and birds abound No humans around The bear with her cubs Look for grubs No fear can be found No bark of the hound A perfect place In a little space A picture on my grandmother's wall A place where the trees grow tall. |
My grandmother had a wonderful picture on one of her bedroom walls for as long as she was alive. I always loved that picture. Thank you snickersnax for the beautiful picture.
