My perfect world contest.
A River Flows Through It
by justjo66
My perfect world is not my idea
Some may call it a panacea* It was imagined aeons ago Something I was taught, I didn't outgrow. It's a grand place...,like a "garden" most would say A place of continual day It is a place where no one will pollute A river with trees along its banks that bear fruit The homes are all mansions No need for expansions Children play in streets of purest gold The Lion lies down with the Lamb, I am told In this place Peace abounds I never have to worry about gaining pounds No sickness, sorrow, or Death "Oh my, let me catch my breath" My loved ones are all there, too And people I never knew There is a narrow path to take I hope you are on it for your sake A door at the end There awaits our best friend "Seek and you will find" Something to bear in mind. |

Just my idea of my perfect world. *Panacea =hypothetical remedy for all ills or disease. I do not believe it's a hypothetical place. To me it is as real as this earth. The picture was taken of my son on a hill in Alaska.
