A story within a Poem.
A Campfire Tale
by justjo66
Listen children and I'll tell you a tale.
Of granny and how she fell. Beneath a cloudless sky I lay The stars and moon shone bright as day. The air felt cool upon my face How had I come to be so quickly in this place? My mind befuddled at first. Then I remember my powerful thirst. What a spectacle I must have been Sailing through the night sky, a perfect score of ten. It seems a missed step from the motorhome is all it took. To find myself on my back is one for the memory book. No harm done to my old frame. Just a lesson learned for this old RVing dame. When taking that first step out..., never fail, Hold on to the darn STEP RAIL!!!! |

Anyone who has ever owned a motorhome or any type of travel travel or other RV(Recreational Vehicle) knows the perils of missing that first step and sailing through the air. :o)Thank you Flight_of_Raven for your beautiful picture of a campfire.
