Who Else?

by justjo66

In the silence of the night
I hear my name.
In the silence
I hear you calling me.

I rise up from my bed
I fall down on my knees.
I cry out to you, "please, please, please".
There are no grand words I can pray.

The world is crashing down on me.
I cry out and lift my arms.
My spirit joins yours
Praises begin to flow from my heart and mouth.

Who else Lord but you?
Who else can I turn to?
You lift me up, you wipe away my tears.
My spirit is calm, my Father is here.
