Sweet signs of resurrection
burst forth from every tree --
each golden-garbed forsythia
shouts out life's sanctity.

Magnolias drop their petals
upon the emerald grass,
so vibrant pink and ivory
shed light along my path.

I see in dandelions
joy spread across each hill,
and feel the cheer of sunshine's warmth
in every daffodil.

The chapel bells are ringing
that Christ our Lord arose.
No doubt they're passing on the news
that in each blossom glows.
