Fat and Sassy Worms

by adewpearl

Watch your step
on rainy day treks,
this lesson
you should learn --
unless your wish is to squish
fat and sassy worms.

Recognized

The shadorma is a six line poem of Spanish origin with syllable count of 3/5/3/3/7/5. There is no set rhyme scheme.
The expression "fat and sassy" means feeling elated, fit as a fiddle. Worms, I'm would think, are feeling fat and sassy as they wriggle around on rainy days. They are also fat in a literal sense.
Pays one point and 2 member cents.
