a reflective cinquain

A chapter in the book cinquains

Steeped Tea and Ancient Tortoises

Like tea
is best brewed slow,
for flavor comes when steeped,
our wisest thoughts are seldom reaped
in haste.

The cinquain is a five line poem with syllable count of 2/4/6/8/2. The title is considered a significant sixth line, and in the style of the form's inventor, Adelaide Crapsey, there is usually a downward turn in the fourth or fifth line.
