Steeped Tea and Ancient Tortoises

Like tea is best brewed slow, for flavor comes when steeped, our wisest thoughts are seldom reaped in haste. |

The cinquain is a five line poem with syllable count of 2/4/6/8/2. The title is considered a significant sixth line, and in the style of the form's inventor, Adelaide Crapsey, there is usually a downward turn in the fourth or fifth line.
