In dreams I romp with kangaroos,
spin round on carousels,
discover coins that others lose
and ring cathedral bells.

In dreams I am the fairy queen
to whom all others bow,
and all great sights I've never seen
lay spread before me now.

But all my dreams I'd set aside
if only one came true --
for my soul would be satisfied
to live my life with you.
