I Wonder as I Wander

Do fields of ruby tulips feel
the warmth received by solar power?
When sun and soil supply their meal,
are they aware that's how they flower?

Do all the blooms that thirst and thrive
know how the rains keep them alive?
As through the crimson fields I wander,
what of MY life do tulips ponder?
