If I controlled the hands of time, I know the day I'd recreate, a day of passion's touch sublime if I controlled the hands of time. No poet's measured gift of rhyme could hope our love to replicate. If I controlled the hands of time, I know the day I'd recreate. |

A triolet is an 8 line poem in which the first line is also the fourth and the seventh lines, and the second line is repeated as the eighth line. The rhyme scheme is ABAAABAB.
