Questions for a Goldfish

by adewpearl

The goldfish in their fishbowl
just never seem to mind,
they have no set timetable,
no clear-cut finish line.

The globe which they inhabit,
so limited in space,
might make me claustrophobic --
for them that's not the case.

What secrets of contentment,
I wonder, have they found --
these goldfish in their fishbowl,
while swimming round and round?

This morning a fellow Fanstorian challenged me to write a poem of any style about fish in an aquarium. This is my response.
