Quatrain Poem about Young Love
Daisy Chain

A lad and lassie took a walk along a flowered path. He tried to take her hand in his -- she pulled away and laughed. She picked a golden buttercup to hold beneath his chin. They searched for four leaf clovers to find the luck within. Some dandelions gone to seed were growing in the grass. They blew upon them gently and wished their joy would last. Then as the day came to an end he wove a daisy chain and crowned her with this garland, the queen of his domain. |
