Doesn't He Understand?
by Mike K2
Doesn't my master realize
it's too cold for a trip. I tell him by pulling hard on the leash, so he'll slip. He should know that it's too cold out for this walk! Everyone's bundled up so there's no pretty ladies for him to gawk. He reads the paper, but my method causes in me a plight. Having to dig my nose into the snow and getting frostbite! He rubs my feet to warm them up after busting out laughing at first glance. Ice and salt got into and froze my pads, not funny to me at all, this icy dance. Pictured is how I want to be on cold days, cozy warm and comfortable; with a Hot Toddy. Covered, surrounded by cats and laying nappingly on my soft, "Masters" body! I just thought of a new way to tell him these walks, he should scrub. Then on freezing days we won't have to go out at all... I'll leave my duties on his rug! |
Nappingly is intentional!
The dog in the picture is Oliver, I have had him for five years. In the frame is HalfHoff's Basset, Ruby Jane; my sweetheart!
