Whimsical musings on your garden's inhabitants
Garden Reverie (heavily edited)
by adewpearl
for Samadhi
Have you ever strolled through your garden green, where bumblebees sip on nectar sweet, and wondered which creatures you haven't seen, whose faces would make the picture complete? When hummingbirds hover over the vine as morning glories unfurl at dawn, is someone else sharing the flowers' wine and singing along with their gamboling song? As a snail slowly dawdles down the path, does a passenger sit upon its shell? As sparrows splash in their marble bath, do they have tiny playmates? They won't tell! When rose petals fall on the cobblestone, do gossamer maidens gather there? Are frolicsome fairies, never quite known, at play in your garden without a care? |
