Keeping that wonderment of childhood.
Upon The Wind
by Mike K2
Thistle down floating through the air; always enchants a child. Lest we forget!
Forever caught in
a celestial gaze. Each downy strand means a beautiful day. Tied together in the center, they take flight. Floating to you as a beautiful delight. A flirty phrase, wish or well earned compliment. Meant to be a little warmth, for life's chill... A heavenly supplement. Hopefully seeing it, sparking that child in you to run after it, just for fun. To capture it and place upon it, your own thoughts hoping it will float back, to that someone. Insulated in his tent of bubble wrap, that protects him from demons and asp. He spies that floating down, chases it and grabs your thoughts in his grasp. Now a man, he no longer concerns himself with trying to write a fantasy. He just would like beautifully sketched, a friendly reality. Along with that fluffy down or ornate winged insects that float on the wind. There are those well intentioned thoughts that he did send. |
I just pulled this one out of my hat. Today the Baltimore Sunpapers horoscope mentioned that I have insulated (emotionally) in bubble wrap and someone will come by and pop the bubbles. I had all kinds of speculation and imagination over it, then I realized that maybe I should stop popping them myself. lol
