Now! ROMeo and Joule-liette

by Mike K2

Oh ROMeo! Oh, ROMeo!
Click, click, click.
Click, Click!
Oh, where are thou!

My Joule-liette!
Poor Joule-liette!
The anti-virus software,
knocked me off the Internet!

Click, click, click.
Click, Click!

Oh, this is foul!

Oh ROMeo! Oh, ROMeo!
You lost interest in
me and no longer care!

Joule-liette! My, Joule-liette!
I'm trying to figure out
how to get back to you,
God, this just isn't fair.

Come on computer, pop
ROMeo's flag up! Please!

God, I need to tell Joule-liette
every thing's fine, I'm trying
to figure this out on my knees!

Maybe my ROMeo has found
another screen name to keep...
Or worse, he's actually left
his house for a real woman
to seek.

I put out an emergency call
to my friend who's a
computer geek.

This new anti-virus routine,
has everyone's computer.
Damn it!
He can't come for a week!

This downed computer is putting
up one hell of a fight!
Life with out my Joule-leitte,
really does Byte.

I know she found someone
else on-line by now! Shoot!
I know! I'll shutdown everything,
then I'll reboot!

It did the trick! Joule-liette!

I'm coming and we'll be on
each other's screens, I'm
typing as fast as I can!

At that very instant the
electrical impulse leaves
ROMeo's computer, directly
headed for Joule-liette.

ROMeo, I'm tired and heading
for my bed, I started my
computer running this new
anti-virus program.

Recognized

ROM-computer term-Read only memory.
Joule-used in electronics- a unit of work or energy equal to the work done by a force of one newton acting through a distance of one meter.

These have nothing to do with this poem as there were used strictly as names. Any other computer word is used just for pronunciation.

This poem was inspired over night, by my someone touting a game boy and the fact that I ran an anti-spy-ware program that had the effect of cutting the links to the Internet.

I wonder how Shakespeare would fair in the modern word as we must remember creative thought first, the technological thought second! This is how this master's piece was created.
