Acrostic Poem

A Stitch In Time

Adjust your underwear and sit

Straight in your chair. Oh, good! That's it!
This should be fun. OK Let's go.
It's volume up, enjoy the show.
The world's in peril. Can't you see?
Can anyone save democracy?
Here squats the problem, orange, loud,

In Mar a Lago, swollen, proud.
Normality's forgotten here;

The lies are monstrous. Let's be clear
It's fiction that the vote was rigged;
Make sure you've not on Kool-Aid swigged.
"Elephant And Donkey Crash."

"Survival Of The Fittest Clash,"
Are some of the headlines you will read.
Vicissitudes may cause your brain to bleed.
"Enough!" you cry. Frustration makes you weep.
"Suggest some way to rid us of this creep!"

No mortal man has ever thus destroyed
In one short term the life we once enjoyed.
Now go and do my bidding - cast your vote.
Ensure this Toad will never get to gloat.
