Write a Pantoum Poem
Poetry Contest
A Pantoum Poem is a series of quatrains with the rhyming that goes ABAB. Each quatrain introduces a new rhyme--e.g. BCBC, CDCD.
The lines should go as follows:
Line 1
Line 2
Line 3
Line 4
Line 5 [repeat of line 2]
Line 6
Line 7 [repeat of line 4]
Line 8
The poem can have as many stanzas as you wish. If there is a third stanza it would go:
Line 9 [repeat line 6]
Line 10
Line 11 [repeat line 8]
Line 12
The last stanza should go as follows:
Line 2 of previous stanza
Line 3 of first stanza
Line 4 of previous stanza
Line 1 of first stanza
The contest winner will win half of the prize pool of 90.00 member dollars. In this contest at least 5 submissions must be made for the vote to begin.
