Poetry Contest
Write a poem that somehow incorporates the artwork to the left.
The poem does not have to be specifically about the image. But contest voters will be asked to consider the image when making a choice for a winner.
'Tis the season...to be creative in the expression of depth.
The goal is to produce quality work that will be published in the December issue of Lava Flow magazine.
All poetic styles are open, however, the freer the voice, the more appeal it holds-- even when contained by rules.
Poem length: 70 words maximum.
Excluded entries include any member who appears in the October issue of Lava Flow, as well as, its team.
The contest winner will win half of the prize pool of 60.00 member dollars. In this contest at least 10 submissions must be made for the vote to begin.
Deadline: Contest is closed. Deadline was Monday, October 30, 2006.
