The topic for this contest is: Piracy. The pirate can be either the main character or a villain. Story can take place on the high seas or on land. Fiction only, no poetry. Minimum word allowance: 1000 words.
Write a story that somehow incorporates the topic of a sea-going pirate. Scenes can take place on a ship, on land, in court, etc. Pirate can be active or retired, male or female.
Creative approaches are welcomed. But contest voters will be asked to consider the topic when making a choice for a winner.
The contest winner will win the full prize pool. This is a winner take all contest. In this contest at least 2 submissions must be made for the vote to begin.
