Can you look up a famous poem ... such as "Oh Captain, my Captain," 'Trees" Paul Revere's Ride" etc... and write a spoof poem about any subject in the same style? It can be serious or humorous. Shorten it if you need but indicate somehow what the original poem is. You can quote a line or two if need be, Good luck. have fun!
