Horror haiku
Poetry Contest
Okay, now I've gone and ruffled the poet police's delicate feathers.
I want you to write a horrific haiku. Turn that old oak in your yard into something terrifying.
Artwork is more than welcome, and animations too, should you feel compelled to use them.
No author's notes. Allow your words to speak for themselves.
Anything else goes, as long as the poem is 17 syllables, or less, with two grammatically interconnected lines and a satori. The satori can be at the beginning, or the end, I'll leave that up to you.
You know the drill, so just let your imagination go wild!
The contest winner will win half of the prize pool of 90.00 member dollars. In this contest at least 2 submissions must be made for the vote to begin.
Deadline: Contest is closed. Deadline was Sunday, September 7, 2014.
