Rubber Ducky Even The Odds
Poetry Contest
Write an Even the Odds Poem pertaining to RUBBER DUCKIES. That's right folks, the 'favorite fowl' bath toy whose 140th birthday is this year has its very own day. That day is January 13th. Therefore, to honor such a prestigious celebration, you are to write an Even the Odds poem that somehow, someway incorporates the traditionally yellow fellow as the focus. As a reminder, the 'Even-the-Odds' poetry format has a syllable count of 2-4-6-8-10-9-7-5-3-1 [starts out with evens and finishes with odds]
The first line (two syllables) and the last line (one syllable) are essentially synonyms
There is no rhyme requirement, although it isn't discouraged.
