This is an AWESOME entry. The imagery of the scenes is true from one who has 'been there, done that.' The dialogue brings readers into each scene as well as the descriptions of the battles do, too. This is EXCEPTIONAL in all ways. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE!
WOW! Best "War Story" I've read on FanStory. It appears the words came from the writers soul, through his/her heart and were written by hand and a quill. Heart-wrenching overall; yet hilariously funny at times. My favorite, Anonymous Writer. You have earned a win in the contest, my friend.
