It was the most easily read poem, and didn't have the feel of a 5-7-5 because of the rich word choice. For a small poem, this person was able to evoke deliciousness but also family memories.
Loved the image of family participation:)
Sticky Date Pudding brought the most mouth watering and personal connection.
Pudding on some weight, who cares, when such a yummy treat is offered?!
First stanza is so very clever!
How can anyone resist ooey, gooey fudge?
So sweet! I think it's a good day for a hot fudge sundae!
An awesome 575/Suite of 3 contest entry in the Humor Poetry Catagory, Mystery Writer. Extremely amusing! Astonishing Google image and the gold font on black is impressively easy to read. Thanks for sharing and best wishes for a contest win.
I like the reverence reference!
A very nice poem and who has not done this!?
By far the best!
Sounds yummy!!
