Trevor Holden: I started writing humorous things when I was young, maybe 12 or 13, and fortunately I had a very astute English teacher who said 'don't do that, I want you to write something serious'. It all changed after that. I wrote something very much 'out there', but he wanted to read it to the class. I was so pleased. After my school years I started a band, and my writing skills were mainly used in writing song lyrics, which I found quite satisfying, but it has taken til this last seven years for me to put real effort into writing short stories novels and enlightening poems. I hope you all can appreciate my best works which if all goes to plan will be published in the next 2 years. God bless |
