Born in England, but living in South Africa since 1974. Recently retired, I spent a lot of my working life on field trips around the country (water research). For me, field trips were superb, and had a lot of fun, and many, many tales to tell, which my children love (most are amusing). I came to FanStory to learn about writing, as I want to eventually put these tales into written form (diary form or story ?), so the (now grown-up) children can still hear them when I'm gone (it was their request).
As of April, it is clear I need to learn how to write, but will soldier on ;)
