The Bantering Welshman: My name is Mike Humphreys, but I have taken up the moniker The Bantering Welshman after a friend referred to me that way more than 20 years ago. I'm not Welsh born, but the name Humphreys originates from Wales and goes back to William the Conqueror. I've been to my surname's place of origin and I totally relate to the Welsh Bards of Old.
