I discovered a love for poetry as a senior in high school and haven't stop since. I'm usually inspired by something in nature or if I want to show others the perspective of something else (usually an inanimate object), but mostly my inspiration comes from the One who inspires me everyday - my Creator and Heavenly Father. Even though I'm not perfect, I strive to please Him and it brings me joy to make Him happy. Recently, I've really gotten into digging into God's Word in depth -- really learning what the original Hebrew and Greek words meant at the time they were written and a lot of times, the things I learn inspire me to write my poetry. Other than spending time with my family and writting poetry, I also enjoy drawing and painting, exploring nature, learning about history that surrounds my home county, finding indian pottery, and fossil hunting.
